Through this relentless approach, Jimmy’s results on Blowering Dam are a testament to his dedication & ability to learn a species and their traits in world little explored by fly fishermen.
Our newly launched vessel “In COD We Trust” has been custom-built for Snowy Valleys Fly Fishing and specifically designed to target these impoundment giants. Fitted out with top-of-the-line Garmin Electronics and a thoughtful layout, it makes for a great platform to target these fish out of.
Fly fishing for these giant fish requires a high degree of dedication and is suited to the experienced fly caster.

New: Single-day trips are now available for lure anglers, providing a shorter, high-impact experience for those with limited time but a big ambition.
Full Day on the Water (8 hours minimum) split into two sessions:
Session 1 (Sunset) – Familiarisation with the boat, gear, techniques, and casting 10wt rods.
Session 2 (Sunrise) – Continue building on the previous night’s session for maximum effectiveness.
All Fly and Lure trips include:
